The Swedish Armed Forces Logistics – FM LOG is looking for a Production Coordinator in Arvidsjaur.

We are now looking for a production coordinator for a small but expanding unit within FMLOG (Swedish Armed Forces Logistics). The unit is facing significant growth in the coming years, which means you will enter a phase where you can help build structures, flows, and coordination from the ground up. The role is central to ensuring effective material management and support for operations in a robust and future-proof logistics organization.

About the Role

As a production coordinator, you play a key role in ensuring effective inventory management and supporting both daily operations and long-term strategies. The role offers a strategic mix of operational work and strategic development, where you have the opportunity to drive improvements and contribute to robust defense logistics.

Your Main Tasks

  • Identify, plan, and implement improvement projects within the warehouse operations – From idea to implementation, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Support the department with governance and follow-up to create the structure required to manage materials according to established requirements.
  • Consolidate, analyze, and lead the work around staff orders.
  • Analyze the department's resource needs, prepare materials, and inventory and follow up on purchases and investments.

Qualifications

  • University degree (or equivalent competence acquired in another way that the employer assesses as equivalent)
  • Good administrative skills and good knowledge of the Office suite
  • Category B driving license for manual transmission
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing

Meritorious

  • We prefer that you have several years of work experience in a position within warehouse operations. For example, team leader, project manager, manager, or what the employer assesses as equivalent.
  • Experience working in the Armed Forces' support systems, such as LIFT or PRIO
  • Experience working within the Armed Forces Logistics function

  • Have good administrative skills and preferably experience in driving change work
  • Are analytical, structured, and engaged in supporting the team towards common goals.

The employment constitutes a civilian permanent position full-time. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed within the Armed Forces.
